Prodigy of Mobb Deep has died at age 42

Prodigy of Mobb Deep has died at age 42. A publicist for the group confirmed that he was found unconscious this morning and has passed away.  Albert Johnson, better known to millions of fans as Prodigy of legendary NY rap duo Mobb Deep. Prodigy was hospitalized a few days ago in Vegas after a Mobb Deep performance for complications caused by a sickle cell anemia crisis. As most of his fans know, Prodigy battled the disease since birth.  Now we will forever mourn the loss of one of the greatest rappers of all time.  Last weekend, Prodigy was in Las Vegas with Havoc, performing on the Art of Rap tour. Ghostface Killah, Onyx, KRS-One, Ice-T were also on the bill.
