As SLOG spoke on in this week’s column, the senseless murder of Bay Area rapper The Jacka was a huge, aching blow to West Coast hiphop, one many compared to the killing of Vallejo legend Mac Dre—or even more impact-fully, the loss of Tupac Shakur.
