Future Gets His First Number 1 Album With ‘Dirty Sprite 2′
The ATL’s own, Future, is back! The wordsmith recently released his latest project, Dirty Sprite 2, and today returns at the top of the charts for his first time. The word comes down today that Future and his new album, Dirty Sprite 2, debut at the top of the charts this week, moving 147,000 equivalent album units in its first week, according to Billboard.
Future took to Twitter to thank his fans, stating “The best fans on da mufuckin planet…y’all make everything all worth it #DS2″. The project leads the way this week, while Meek Mill drops three spots to No. 6, selling 39,000 copies of Dreams Worth More Than Money.
